27 Killed, Over 60 Injured As Massive Fire Tears Through Bangkok Pub Following Power Failure, Explosion

A massive fire tore through a popular pub in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, late Sunday night, killing at least 27 people and injuring 63 others, officials said on Monday, as investigators began probing the cause of one of the country’s deadliest entertainment venue fires in recent years.

The blaze broke out at around 11.57 pm local time at Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao, a live music pub in Bangkok’s Chatuchak district.
